He is actively pursuing his Ph.D. at the National Institute of Technology, Silchar, building upon his educational background with a B.Tech and M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology (currently MAKAUT). With over 8 years of teaching experience and more than 4 years in administrative roles, he has demonstrated expertise in the field.

His scholarly contributions include authoring over 20 publications in international journals, books, and conferences, as well as reviewing more than 40 articles. Subhajit has successfully supervised over 15 undergraduate projects and 6 postgraduate projects, excluding one externally funded project by the Institute of Engineers (India).
